Life Management Strategies Presents: Parenting Teens and Young Adults with ADHD and Asperger's

This presentation is for parents of children between the ages of 15 and 25 who have ADD/ADHD, High Functioning Autism Spectrum Disorders or other hidden disabilities. Topics will include:

According to the NIMH(National Institute of Mental Health), almost 1 in 5 Americans over the age of 18 suffers from a hidden disability that directly effects their abilities and effectiveness in the workplace.  Not only are businesses effected, but homes that have a child or adolescent with a hidden disability, such as ADHD, Aspergers, Dyslexia, and others can put substantial strain on daily life.  Research supports that Family Based Intervention and Individualized Employee Care Services, not only reduce stressful environments, but also facilitate self improvement for the persons with a hidden disability.
