The BEHAVIOR MANAGEMENT PLAN
This plan is designed for families that want to stay actively engaged in attaining their goals and/or managing the hidden disability affecting them.
The focus is on increasing family competencies while decreasing the level of direct coaching involvement. Your family will be provided with support and encouragement as you work to overcome challenges and learn the techniques necessary to manage behavior on a daily basis.
Choose the Behavior Management Plan if you want to:
- Increase your child’s role in actively managing his or her own behavior.
- Generalize your child’s new behaviors to other settings.
- Teach your child how to behave in social situations.
You will learn:
- How to make adjustments to a behavior modification program.
- Techniques for shaping and maintaining your child’s behavior.
- To focus on rewarding appropriate behavioral choices.
Your LMS Coach will:
- Introduce you to age-appropriate techniques for teaching problem-solving skills, managing conflict, handling competition, and making friends.
- Assist you in shifting from a formal behavior modification program to a comprehensive behavior management system.
If your family is affected by a hidden disability, you will learn:
- How your child’s behavioral needs may change as they mature.
- How to assist your child in developing self-advocacy skills.
This plan is typically comprised of one 60-minute face-to-face session per week for four weeks. Meeting dates and locations will be scheduled based on the clients needs.
The fee for this plan is $300.00 for one month. An initial deposit of $100.00 is required to begin services. The remainder of the fee may be paid in installments as determined by your LMS Coaching Contract.
